Can you rely on your system or does your 'system' rely
on YOU?
Macro Perspectiv's 4 P's Methodology makes sure that you 'cover
all the bases' in building your system. It works like this:
 |
The Policy states what
the company has committed to, and is based on the company values
and applicable legislation, and reflects the corporate culture.
It states the company's position, along with any limits or constraints,
and acts as the ultimate reference in case of any dispute. |
 |
The Process sets out how the company
will translate the policy into action. |
 |
The Procedure(s) provides the detail to ensure that the process
can be repeated consistently every time by different people. |
 |
The Props are the forms, templates, standard documents, notices,
emails, checklists, etc that support the process and procedure,
and ultimately the policy. |
Without each of the 4 P's in place, the likely result will be a
degree of confusion or inefficiency.
